HVAC Technician

  • Work location: Remote-site/camp project, Oman
  • Department: Facilities Management
  • Work schedule: Site rotation/shift duty
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years
  • Qualification: ITI/Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration or Air Conditioning
  • Remote camp, Facilities Management or oil and gas experience is required
  • Permit-to-Work experience is mandatory

    • Skills

    • Maintenance of split, package, ducted and central AC systems
    • HVAC fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
    • Refrigeration charging and leak detection
    • Electrical control and wiring knowledge
    • Preventive and corrective maintenance
    • Permit-to-Work, LOTO and toolbox-talk procedures
    • Ability to understand risk assessments and method statements
    • Good communication, reporting and teamwork skills


    KEY TASKS

  • Inspect, maintain and repair HVAC equipment.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults.
  • Attend breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls.
  • Check compressors, motors, thermostats, filters and control panels.
  • Complete work orders, checklists and maintenance records.
  • Obtain and comply with the required Permit to Work before starting activities.
  • Follow all HSE and remote-site operating procedures.
